Questions
Can I buy the materials and you furnish the labor?
Yes, we are flexible in our approach. However, adding this step does increase the chances for delays and miscommunication. This will also put pressure on you as part of the process to negotiate
Can I use my own Designer or Architect?
Absolutely, as long as your Designers are fully accredited and have active licenses to perform their job duties in California. Please note – we do our absolute best to collaborate effectively, however, we cannot control delays from our outside firms from impacting your timeline.
Tell me more about your cancellation policy.
Unless the contract is negotiated at the contractor’s place of business, and/or the contract price is under $25, clients qualifies for a three-day right to cancel. Miramar will provide you with information on your three-day right to cancel under the “Home Solicitation Sales Act” with your contract.
To cancel, the buyer need only give the contractor written notice of their intent not to be bound by the contract. Clients 65 years and older are awarded a 5 day right to cancel.
